My mamma is 85 and she listens to all kinds of music, almost never the 'greatest hits' from her youth. I love when she send me YouTube music videos of recent songs she's found. I'm same - and refuse to be embarrassed about it. You keep going - music should never stop exciting us. Thanks for a great post.

Una akala ko yung Theodora siya yung kumanta noong "Fault lines" na nasa playlist ko iba pala siyang artist, pero tunog ok naman para sakin. Sa tingin ko parang same "vibes" sya nung ibang mga kanta ni Kali Uchis. O siguro kaya ko iyon nasabi dahil puro Kali Uchis lately yung napapatugtog kong playlist xD

Tama naman. Halos pareho rin ang trajectory nila: Theodora (born in Switzerland, of Congolese heritage) and Kali (born in the United States, of Colombian heritage) are mining their vintage to create really interesting pop music.

Sa totoo lang, hindi ko pa napapakinggan karaming ng kanta ni Theodora. "Un Meilleur Nous" sounds really cool, though.

Music curation is always spot on! Thank you for introducing Suyen, for me she is like a Filipino version of the Olivia Rodrigo teenage angst. Yung Teka Lang reminds me of I Want it All ni Ryan and Sharpay of HSM 😅 and agree, I never knew I needed a version of Cool like this.
